AWS Glossary

A short explanation of common AWS Terms:

Route53 – DNS service of AWS – PS : 53 is default Domain Name System/Standard port hence the name Route53

Cloud Front:

Cahcing the files part of CDN

Direct Connect:

Connecting ur physcial datacenter to AWS.

EC2 – Elastic Compute Cloud

VMs which run the services

EC2 Container Service – similar to docker – Not for exam

Elastic Beanstalk: upload any code in elastic beanstalk and it will prepare underlying needed aws infra.

Lambda:

EC2 u have ssh access and tinker with os but lambda is serverless , u just upload ur code no ssh access imp but – Not in exam

Lightsail: – can install wordpress etc in cloud for u .. with very less inputs needed from ur end for config etc. – Not in exam
